To subscribe to the calendar as an RSS/ATOM feed, you will need an RSS feed reader. For Firefox users, I recommend the Sage extension. Once installed, restart Firefox, click View/Sidebar/Sage, and drag the icon into the sidebar. Click it to see the latest version of the calendar. As an alternative, you can also use Firefox's built-in "Live Bookmarks" feature. There is also the stand alone reader Akregator. (Thunderbird users can subscribe to this by creating a New Account (RSS News & Blogs) and then add this feed, pasting the URL of the XML link into the appropriate field. However, Thunderbird doesn't appear to handle the embedded HTML tags very well.) |

To use iCalendar/vCal, you will need one of the many iCalendar applications available. Ubuntu leans towards Evolution. However, I like korganizer, the KDE/Kubuntu calendar. Clicking on the icon should open an appropriate application. More savvy users may want to explicitly choose their calendar program, and if your application offers it, subscribe to this link in a way that your application will track updates automatically. |

This link simply displays the calendar as a web page inside your browser, and is the least sophisticated of the options available. This one's suitable for adding to your bookmarks. |
Note: If you have a ~/.mime.types in your home directory (and/or a /etc/mime.types) you may want to add the following lines if they are not already present:
text/calendar ics icz text/x-vcalendar vcs
