History
The Ubuntu DC LoCo Team got it's unofficial kick-off in late 2004, when Saint Nick-o-Linux arrived at the Yorktown High School Linux User Group meeting with a sack full of Warty Warthogs.
Since that historic event, we distributed CD's at the Federal Office Systems Expo (FOSE) and held a successful Software Freedom Day event in 2005.
Look for us in 2006 at:

- the National Educational Computing Conference,
- the Takoma Park Folk Festival, and
- Software Freedom Day
